I had Dr. Burchett for resetting my nose following a car accident. He did a great job and I can speak very highly of his work. The only negative thing I can say is that when I had the follow-up visit after my operation, I expected to be meeting with Dr. Burchett and ended up meeting with a different doctor instead. This doctor was not as approachable and gentle as Dr. Burchett. He pushed on my newly constructed face with a lot of pressure which scared me and brought me to tears. He explained this had to be done for medical reasons but I was very taken aback. He did not tell me he was going to do that prior to this happening. I really would have preferred to see Dr. Burchett as he had a great demeanor and made me feel more at ease.
Unfortunately we had a very negative experience at this office. The only positive part was that the office staff were very friendly and helpful. Our medical care and the bedside manner of the physician was the worst I have ever experienced. We left in tears over how poorly we were treated. Truly unacceptable for a person to treat another person this way under any curcumstance, regardless of who you are.
I am not one to put others down...but this is worth sharing hoping others won't have to experience the same thing we did.
