Browning performed a right knee replacement in 1999 on me in May. I was unable to walk for 8 months following the replacement. During that time I had several appointmments to reduce the pain. I viewed the Xray and saw there was a gap between the bone and the replacement in the area where the bone was supposed to be cut flat. I asked him why the the gap existed he said don't worry about it and it will grow in even though the pain was unbearable. Finally in December of 1999 I had Dr Baily in Kirksville perform another complete replacement. I asked him what was wrong with it and what he found, he said nothing was wrong it just needed to be replaced. This is a case of one doctor is covering for another. It did releive pressure but still had severe pain. In September 2006 it became necessary to have the 3rd complete replacement, Browning denied any problem with his procedure and that all problems were in my head. I have had several so called corrective action surgerys none have corrected the damage from Browning. I am still in a great deal of pain every day, the next step is amputaion all because he was incompetent. By the way there has been no financial compensation, all expenses have been mine. I don't understand how he is still allowed to butcher.
