I used to love this place until greed set in. My family ate here Thanksgiving and was not pleased with way we had to choose a single plate for $11 and walked away hungry. They were not going to give any mashed potatoes and gravy until I asked where it was with the special. If you are going to be open a couple of hours for a holiday-at least give cranberry sauce with it. Rosies is better.
Really good service! Food was good; not outstanding, but certainly nothing wrong with it. Hot roast beef sandwich- they cheerfully switched out wheat for white bread & the brown gravy was tasty. Instant potatoes a little disappointing. Husband had hot tenderloin, very generous serving. Overall, good diner.
I love diners. This one has the feel of a place that is well loved by the locals. They have a very large menu with lots of choices for American fare. I went for a quiet lunch and was served an excellent patty melt with friendly service. I'll be back.
Don't try the chicken melt! Unless it's just me! It came with only mayo and chicken! There was no salad to it! But hey the spaghetti was great!
