The setup is a little strange, with the lobby, breakfast area, pool and game room all together. I wanted to use the hot tub but not enough to do it in the lobby. They are making improvements to the hallways, with new carpet and paint. The room was comfortable but not anything special. Little touches would help dramatically, like putting the fridge and microwave on a cart or enclosure, rather than stacking them against the wall. Staff was friendly. I could hear the people above me walking around.
Not too bad. Friendly staff, clean and quiet. But what was not a good thing on their part...that has charged my husband's card an additional 2 times for the 2 rooms for 2 nights. Then another separate charge that was somwones else's Bill. They did correct it but goodness was it a frustrating hassle and time consuming.
I was impressed when I walked in the lobby of this place. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the lobby is nice. The rooms need updating but they make up for it in hospitality.
Great service and everything in main area is good. However rooms have not had a remodel since 1970s and is priced to high. Do not look on reverse side of curtains. I stayed here in the early 1990s and nothing has been changed except mattress. Should be priced at $50 a night. Place has potential.
Room was clean and furnished well. Bed quality was less than desirable but we managed. The lobby is set up in a very interesting way which made for a different experience. Another new experience was having to pay for breakfast which is usually provided free with stay at other hotels and usually in better quality / quantity.
